For testing the
"Loop-Tack" initial adhesion
according to FINAT* FTM 9
The Quick-Stick test plate enables testing of the initial adhesion according to FINAT* FTM 9. Initial adhesion or initial adhesive strength is the force that an adhesive tape exerts when it is first stuck on. In addition, it can be measured how quickly a bond is formed when the adhesive first comes into contact with the surface to be bonded.
To determine the loop-tack value, a 200 mm long and 25 mm wide test strip is formed into a loop with the adhesive surface facing outwards and guided through the roller device. The Quick-Stick plate is then pushed forward until the adhesive surface is fully in contact and secured with clamping screws.
