FINAT* FTM 9

The so-called initial adhesion—defined by FINAT* FTM 9 as "Loop Tack"—measures the force required to detach a loop of adhesive tape from a standardized test surface. In this test, the material is formed into a loop with the adhesive side facing outward, brought into contact with a test plate, and immediately subsequently separated again at a specified speed.
